Third Day of Astrophotography - the Andromeda Galaxy

The Andromeda Galaxy

On the third day of astrophotography, the cosmos gave to me:
Three glorious galaxies

Although the Milky Way galaxy is super cool, sometimes it’s nice to give thanks that here on Earth, other galaxies are easily visible in the night sky. Take for instance the amazing Andromeda Galaxy which is visible even to the naked eye! Here, we would like to feature a stupendous shot taken by Miss Maddie Burchard, a fellow astrophysics undergrad student, using the Bayfordbury Observatory telescope. Be sure to check out her other amazing photos, including some cool university projects at her instagram @rocketmaddie at: https://www.instagram.com/rocketmaddie/
